Vocational Training at Remand Home
At Kathaa, we believe every hand holds the power to create. We recently conducted a short-term project with the Remand Home in Satara, introducing young minds to the art of jewelry making. Through this vocational training, we aimed to spark creativity, build confidence, and give them a skill they can carry forward. It was a small step towards showing them the possibilities of a brighter, self-reliant future.

Empowering Rural Women
Kathaa works closely with women from rural communities and self-help groups, many of whom lack access to formal education or traditional employment. We train them in the craft of handmade jewelry, opening doors to both financial independence and creative expression. By providing them with a platform and fair earnings, we strive to empower these women to weave dignity and self-reliance into their lives—one handcrafted piece at a time.
